This class is intended for new employees, students, and managers intending to train new staff. Every florist has a reason why his or her way is the right way to do something, but can we explain that clearly and effectively to a new staff member or intern?
This class will go through teaching the mechanics of set up, knife versus clippers, hand ties versus grids, wire and tape versus glue, flower substitutions, the burrito wrap versus European wraps, to spray or not to spray, and much more.
Get inside the teacher’s head and understand why florists do the crazy things they do to be efficient and cost-effective. We will do one hands-on project together with some of the techniques demonstrated.
